Pickling and Passivation of Stainless Steels

The­se pro­ces­ses remo­ve impu­ri­ties and cor­ro­si­on-pro­mo­ting con­sti­tu­ents from stain­less steels. As a result, stain­less steels beco­me more cor­ro­si­on-resistant, while the ten­den­cy to con­ta­mi­na­te food pro­ducts and the risk of micro­bi­al con­ta­mi­na­ti­on are reduced.

Pas­si­v­a­ti­on can also be car­ri­ed out in accordance with aero­space standards.
